Welcome to my little piece of the world, my opportunity to share the the stories of my travels, where I've been and what I've seen.

Can I claim to be a seasoned and world weary traveller? Probably not, but then I would hate to ever consider myself world weary, it's the thought of the next trip and what's over the next hill that keeps me going.

Here you can read my diaries, have a look at the photos I've taken or read my blog of my job as a cashier in a cruise ship casino. Hopefully they'll be entertaining or provide some inspiration for your own journey. More diaries of past trips will come online as I convert them from battered notebooks to their final form. I'll also be giving my own tips on the things I've taken with me and what I've found useful and what I've found to be a waste of space. Both the diaries and travel tips have space for comments so please let me know what you agree with and what you think I've gotten wrong.

Remember to keep an eye out wherever you might be in the world, the big guy in the akubra sitting next to you on the bus may be me and I'd probably be up for a beer and a chat.
